The value of an idea lies in its execution. With the goal to help ideas take proper shape and grow, Z Nation Lab recently completed the Pre – Accelerator Startup Bootcamp.
This was a 4-day intensive program devised to mentor and elevate the rising generation of aspiring entrepreneurs, who were up and ready to launch their own start-up.
Over the last year, Z Nation Lab’s effective boot camps have brought together startup founders from various domains with a core focus on building innovative solutions. This has helped Z Nation Lab to create a stronger pipeline of startups, work with exceptional entrepreneurs, thereby expanding their portfolio.
To date, ZNL has engaged with 12 startups in terms of investment/advisory which include inter alia: TOCH, SmatSocial, ScoutMyTrip, Picostone, and Get Parking.
Since the beginning of the Bootcamp on January 22nd, the cohort startups had been burning the midnight oil while refining their ideas with the support of our mentors from India and Silicon Valley.
Day 1 of Pre-Accelerator Bootcamp 2018, ended up with an Exclusive Fireside Chat on Reshaping Traditional Industries through Business Innovation. We had esteem speakers like Jitendra Gupta MD- PayU India who talked about his experience of forming a start-up (Citrus Pay) and see through a successful merger with PayU. Other key speakers were Avinash Kalia – Founder – Crucible Fund, Ankit Mehta – Co-Founder & CEO, ideaForge Technology Pvt .Ltd., Namit Jain – Founder ONN Bikes, Prateek Lal – Founder – Flochat
The highlight of Day 2 was the mixers on 23rd January 2018 at work and invited Mentors, Angel Investors, and grown-up startups to come over and interact with our January cohort startups.
For Day 3, Z Nation Lab Corporate Influencer Talk, a lineup of speakers like Jurgen Hase, CEO UNLIMIT; Nitin Bhatia, Signal Hill; Samarjeet Singh, CEO & Co-Founder Iksula; Chandni Sahgal, Managing Consultant Dessence Consulting spoke about the widened scope of technology in today’s startups.
Day 4 was a Demo Day, and we saw the efforts, of all the participating start-ups, culminating in a final pitch to an esteemed panel of investors and partners.

DOST: It is an agri-tech venture which aims to develop the largest technology-enabled and data-driven agriculture eco-system.
Hungry Tripper is developing a digital assistant to help travelers with the intelligent location, time and preference-based suggestion while on a trip and in-depth analytics to vendors about travelers around their location. Hungry Tripper aims to connect travelers and vendors through social media.
SPACIFII is creating a home interior discovery platform powered by AI & analytics, a real-time recommendation to the consumers to give the greatest user experience and make their search easier. A product to solve the problem of price, value, options, convenience, tracking & e-commerce in the home design space which is quite fragmented now.
Accelo is envisioned to disrupt the Automotive Industry with its driver assisting modular technology that helps mitigate the road accidents, saves life on the go and provides Crash data to Insurance companies for ease of Claim redressal and reduced Insurance premiums depending on driving behavioral analysis.
